Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has approved a proposal for the creation of an artificial lake at Sirhaul to mitigate monsoon flooding and enhance groundwater recharge.
The project, covering over 12 acres of land, is backed by Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, who emphasized its role in water conservation. Additionally, Saini gave the green light for the construction of an underpass near Millennium City Centre to alleviate traffic congestion. The Rs 80-crore project aims to reduce traffic bottlenecks at key intersections and streamline movement to the Delhi-Jaipur highway.
During a review meeting of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), CM Saini also supported upgrading Civil Hospital into a 400-bed facility, stressing the need to address growing civic challenges while maintaining Gururam's economic growth.
