Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 19 development projects worth Rs 68 crore in Charkhi Dadri.
Highlighting the region’s contribution to India’s freedom movement and military service, he reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to the development of the Badhra assembly segment. “Since 2014, projects worth Rs 495 crore have been executed in Badhra, compared to Rs 175 crore during the previous Congress rule. Out of 203 announcements made for the area, 145 have been completed, and work is underway on the remaining,” CM Saini said.
He added that after Charkhi Dadri was made a district in 2016, 474 development announcements were made, with 321 completed and 90 ongoing.
Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Shruti Choudhry announced a Rs 32-crore lake project in Makdani village and Rs 40 crore for reconstructing the Bandhwana minor canal.
