Himadri Speciality Chemical has reaffirmed its strategic focus on innovation and sustainability, which have been pivotal to its progress and its key expansion projects are moving forward as planned.
The Phase-1 operations of the Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cathode material facility are scheduled to commence in Q3/FY27. Simultaneously, the new speciality carbon black production line is advancing steadily, with operations expected to begin in Q3/FY26. Another major milestone is the launch of the high value-added speciality products line, set to go live by Q2/FY27.
In parallel, the Birla Tyres plant is gearing up for phased operational rollout beginning Q1/FY26. Initially focusing on the truck and bus bias (TBB) tyre segment, the plant is also undergoing a revamp of its passenger car radial (PCR) tyre machinery. This strategic development will enable the company to introduce premium PCR tyres tailored to both domestic and international markets, underscoring its commitment to meeting global automotive demands. Marking a notable sustainability milestone, the company achieved a ‘B’ rating in its first Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) assessment for 2024.
With an eye on long-term growth and a strategy grounded in sustainable innovation, Himadri Speciality Chemical continues to scale its operations, enhance product offerings, and strengthen its position in the global speciality chemicals and advanced materials market.
