Hind Rectifiers is set to expand its manufacturing capacity in Nashik, Maharashtra with upgrades at its Sinnar and Satpur plants to enhance backward integration and boost cost efficiency.
The company’s board has also approved setting up a wholly owned subsidiary focused on high-tech solutions in information technology (IT), artificial intelligence (AI), Web3, and other advanced software technologies.
The company secured Rs 229 crore worth of orders October-December quarter of FY 2024-25, including a Rs 73 crore contract from Indian Railways. As of December 2024, its order book stands at Rs 870 crore. The company expects to maintain growth momentum due to strong government investments in the railway sector and new opportunities in the industry.
