Japanese major Hitachi, has commissioned two greenfield plants in Neemrana in Rajasthan.
Hitachi Chemical India has been set up at a total cost of Rs 120 crore for manufacturing powdered metal products, mainly for engine and transmission components for two-three wheelers.
Further, Allied JB Friction, subsidiary of Hitachi has set up a plant at a total cost of Rs 57.80 crore, manufacturing disc pads, brake linings and shoe assemblies for two-three wheelers.
Hitachi that has over 20 group companies in a wide range of segments, including power and industrial systems, industrial components and equipments, air conditioning and television.
