Tata AutoComp Systems has inaugurated two new manufacturing plants in Sanand, Gujarat, on 30 January, 2026, further strengthening its presence in a key automotive hub.
These plants, set up for its business units TM Automotive Seating Systems and TACO Air International Thermal Systems, mark a major milestone in the company's growth. The expansion underlines Tata AutoComp's commitment to supporting original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), including Tata Motors, and its export business. Arvind Goel, Vice-Chairman of Tata AutoComp Systems, stated, "These new facilities mark a significant milestone in Tata AutoComp’s strategic growth, enhancing our ability to support OEM partners and respond effectively to evolving platform requirements."
Manoj Kolhatkar, MD & CEO of the company, highlighted that the plants are designed with sustainability in mind and tailored for next-generation mobility platforms. This forward-thinking approach aims to meet the changing needs of customers and the automotive industry.
