IRB Infrastructure Developers has offered its Gandeva Ena project, part of the Delhi-Mumbai Greenfield Expressway, to the IRB InvIT Fund.
The 27.5 km, 220-lane stretch, valued at Rs 1,702 crore, has received approval from the company’s board for a preliminary non-binding proposal. The move supports the company’s strategy of unlocking capital through its "bid-execute-stabilize-transfer" model, aimed at driving future growth. Virendra D Mhaiskar, Chairman and MD, stated, "This step aligns with our bid-executestabilise-transfer strategy to unlock capital and drive growth."
The Gandeva Ena project, a revenue-generating asset, is an eight-lane highway under the NHAI’s Bharatmala Pariyojana initiative. It is being implemented by VM7 Expressway, a subsidiary of IRB, under a National Highways Authority of India concession.
