Ind Synergy is planning
expansion by setting up a new unit at its existing steel plant in Raigarh
district of Chhattisgarh. The expansion project will entail an investment of
Rs.973.80 crore.
The third unit will be constructed in the same vicinity as the other two
units and will have rolling mills of 4 lakh tpa besides continuous
casting machine, a sinter plant and a blast furnace. The company is in process of acquiring 285 acres of land in addition to 258
acres which it has already acquired.
The other two units are at Kotmar and Mahapalli in Raigarh district,
manufacture steel products- sponge iron, billets and structure steel with
a capacity of 3 lakh tpa along with 24 MW captive power unit and steel melt shop
of 2 lakh tpa.
