IndiGrid Infrastructure Trust has outlined a capital expenditure plan of approx. Rs. 41 billion for its under-construction portfolio, which includes six projects— four power transmission schemes and two battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
These projects are located across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. The power transmission projects aim to create 504 ckm of transmission lines and 5,000 MVA of substation capacity, while the BESS projects will develop 860 MWh of storage capacity.
As of 30 September, 2025, IndiGrid’s operational portfolio includes 18 power transmission projects covering 8,742 ckm of lines and 20,050 MVA of transformation capacity across 18 states. The company also added a new BESS project in Uttar Pradesh during Q2/FY26, expanding its total BESS capacity to 2.1 GWh.
