Hyderabad-based Indu Projects, on 8
March 2006, bagged an order valued at Rs.320 crore from National Highways
Authority of India for a highway development project in Tamil Nadu.
Indu Projects, in association with
Navayuga Engineering, will design, engineer, construct, operate and maintain a
45 km four-lane highway from Padalur to Tiruchi on NH-45 in Tamil Nadu. The
order, to be executed on BOT basis, will have a concession period of 25 years,
including construction period of 30 months.
Construction work on the highway
project, which is part of NHDP-II (North-South corridor), is expected to begin
soon.
