Inox Neo Energies, a subsidiary of Inox Clean Energy, has successfully acquired 250 MWp of solar projects from SunSource Energy, with plans to acquire an additional 50 MWp, bringing the total to 300 MWp.
These projects are spread across 13 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra, and are operational under various special purpose vehicles (SPVs), supplying power to major commercial and industrial clients. The projects have long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with an average tenure of 24 years, serving sectors such as manufacturing, FMCG, power equipment, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. Some key clients include Britannia Industries, Jubilant Foodworks, Hitachi Energy, and Max Healthcare.
This acquisition is a significant milestone for Inox Clean as it moves toward its goal of 3 GW of renewable power generation capacity by the end of FY26. Bharat Saxena, CEO of Inox Clean, stated, "This acquisition will be a key growth driver for our IPP business."
