Isgec Heavy Engineering has received an order for Wet Flue Gas Desulphurisation System Package for two x 660 MW Khurja thermal power project in Uttar Pradesh from L&T MHI Power Boilers.
The end-user for the project is THDC India and the consultant is NTPC. The objective of the project is removal of Sulphur Dioxide so as to make the plant compliant to the latest emission norms.
The broad scope of the project includes design, engineering, supply, transportation, erection, commissioning, and performance guarantee testing.
The company has also bagged an order for DeNOx (combustion modifications) package for two x 77 MW & one x 80 MW wall fired boilers at Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu, from one of its existing customer -- OPG Power Generation.
The project is aimed at reducing NOx in order to make the plant compliant with the recent NOx emission norms. The consultant for this project is Aquatherm.
The broad scope of the project includes design, engineering, supply, transportation, erection, commissioning, and performance guarantee testing.
This is yet another combustion modification project for the company after the execution of the combustion modification (DeNOx) project of one x 150 MW tangentially fired boiler for Hindalco Industries at Aditya Aluminium unit in Sambalpur, Odisha.
