Work on the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) is nearing completion. The
project is being implemented by the MMRDA at a cost of Rs 200 crore.
The beautification works are underway on about 12-km stretch of the JVLR. A
patch of 465 mtrs of service road at IIT campus is to be completed as per the
project development report. The MMRDA is also constructing a connecting bridge
across the BMC's water-mains in the IIT campus joining the Northern and Southern
ends. It will be 35 mtrs long and 12 mtrs wide and expected to be completed in
six months.
