Aisin Automotive India, a major Japanese auto component supplier, has signed a landmark 95-year industrial lease for nine lakh sq. ft. of space at Shendra MIDC, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra.

This deal marks one of the largest industrial land transactions in India for 2025. The new facility will be Aisin’s second plant in India, complementing its existing operations in Gurgaon. The lease was secured from Inspira Realty, and the deal highlights the growing appeal of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar as a manufacturing hub, attracting both international and domestic companies.

The industrial park, spanning 232 acres, is nearly 80 percent leased, with major global players, particularly from Japan and Germany, strengthening its tenant base. This move aligns with India's focus on manufacturing growth, supported by initiatives like Make in India and the PLI Scheme, which are fostering a conducive environment for foreign investment and boosting industrial output.
