The Jharkhand government has handed over documents of 174.84 acre of land in Godda district to Adani Power.
Adani Power will develop a 1,600 MW power plant on the allocated land.
The plant will generate employment for 10,000 people.
The project will entail an investment of Rs 15,000 crore in Phase-I.
The company will soon complete the process of acquiring the remaining land of the proposed 970 acre required for the project. The proposed plant will provide 400 MW electricity to the state and develop Godda district as well.
