KP Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat for developing renewable energy projects worth Rs 4,000 crore.
The agreement, finalized on January 12, 2026, during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference, covers a total capacity of 855 MW, including solar and wind-solar hybrid power projects across various locations in Gujarat such as Devbhumi Dwarka and Kutch. The proposed projects include a 200 MW solar project, a 405 MW solar project, and two ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid projects of 100 MW and 150 MW. The initiative aims to generate over 4,000 jobs and will be executed in phases, pending necessary approvals.
The Gujarat government will assist KP Group in obtaining permissions and clearances. This partnership highlights KP Group's dedication to enhancing Gujarat’s renewable energy capacity and contributing to the state’s clean energy goals.
