KVRR Infrastructure has been awarded a contract for the hiring of heavy earth moving machinery (HEMM) to remove overburden and extract coal at the Bonjemihary Expansion open cast project (OCP) in West Bengal.
The contract, valued at Rs 674.13 crore, has been granted by Eastern Coalfields (ECL), a subsidiary of Coal India. The project is critical to supporting coal extraction at the Bonjemihary site, where efficient handling of overburden and coal is crucial for maintaining production levels.
The order marks a significant achievement for KVRR Infrastructure in the coal mining sector.
