Vishnu Prakash RPunglia (VPRPL), a prominent engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, has finalized a five-year river sand mining lease in Kanana, Balotra district of Rajasthan.

The lease allows the company to mine up to 154,350 tonne of river sand annually. This sand mine was obtained through an auction process, and VPRPL has already acquired the necessary statutory clearances from relevant authorities. Additionally, the company has deposited the required amounts with the Government of Rajasthan for the mining agreement's execution. Under the lease, VPRPL will manage both the mining and sale of river sand for five years, adhering to the set production limits and regulatory requirements.

This strategic move aligns with VPRPL’s diversification strategy and reinforces its expanding portfolio across various sectors, particularly in mining.
