Kernex Microsystems (India), as part of a consortium, has received a Letter of acceptance (LoA) from the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL), New Delhi.
The work involves survey, design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of KAVACH (train collision avoidance system), towers and other associated works across a double-line automatic signalling section covering approx. 931 km, including New Boraki-New Khurja, New Bhaupur-New Unchdih, and New Sonnagar on the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. The accepted bid cost for the project is Rs 209.82 crore, with a completion period of 24 months from the date of LoA.
The cumulative orders received along with consortium and N partners from 01 April 2024 to till date is Rs 3,346.35 crore. This win reinforces Kernex Microsystems’ position in advanced railway signalling and safety solutions.
