The long-awaited NH-148A project, a high-speed corridor connecting the Delhi-Noida-Direct (DND) Flyway to Sohna and the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, is nearing completion and is set to be ready in four months.
Once operational, the 91 km corridor will alleviate congestion on Delhi's busiest highways and provide faster access to key destinations, including Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Kolkata. The final phase of construction is underway, with key infrastructure like a ramp at the DND Flyway and an arch bridge over the Agra Canal nearing completion.
The highway, built at an estimated cost of Rs 7,084 crore, includes six-lane access-controlled sections, elevated stretches, flyovers, and multiple underpasses. Officials are optimistic the project will transform connectivity in the National Capital Region (NCR) and ease long-distance travel between major cities.
