Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has decided to construct foot over-bridges and an underpass as part of beautification project to help commuters avoid the tracks.
A foot over-bridge connecting Babughat with the Eden Gardens is being planned so that visitors can easily reach the park. Construction of an underpass has been planned to give safe passage to the visitors who throng Princep Ghat. The visitors will no longer need to cross the railway tracks once it is constructed.
Also, a couple of foot-bridges will be constructed from the extended Millennium Park to connect it with the original one.
