Kuwait will roll out investment partnerships and strategic investment opportunities worth over USD 100 billion in key economic and social sectors for investors in information and communications technology, renewable energy, oil and gas, electricity & water, urban developments and housing, healthcare, the North zone development, among others.
The second edition of the Kuwait Investment Forum 2018 (KIF 2018) will be held between 20 March 2018 to 21 March 2018, at the Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre (JACC), Kuwait City. KIF 2018 is co-organised by the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
The country provides investors with a host of incentives including 100 percent foreign ownership to establish legal entities anywhere in the country, along with exemptions on income tax up to 10 years, customs duty exemptions for projects, etc
The forum will have focused discussions on topics such as ‘Investing for the Future Kuwait’. A progress report will be presented at the forum.
