The construction arm of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) will build an iconic bridge across the river Krishna at Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh.
The scope of work envisages design and construction of a 3.2 km, six-lane iconic bridge across the river Krishna, which includes 2.72 km of approach bridges, on EPC basis.
The bridge will connect Pavitrasangamam in Vijayawada and NIO Road in Amaravati. The value of the project is Rs 1,387 crore. The tender was floated by the Amaravati Development Corporation (ADCL) and has also been entrusted with the operation and maintenance for the bridge for five years.
