Larsen & Toubro’s wholly-owned subsidiary, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE) has secured a contract worth Rs 1,656 crore from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).
The company bagged the offshore contract for the Neelam Redevelopment & B173AC project. The contract involves total engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) for the project.
The scope of work includes one new process platform having gas processing and compression facilities, three new well head platforms, 32 km pipeline, clamp-on on three existing platforms, and modification work on eight existing platforms in the Neelam Field in the western offshore basin.
The project is scheduled to be completed by April 2019.
The gain from the field, after implementation the proposed project till 2034-35, is pegged at 2.76 million tonne crude oil and 4.786 billion cu mtr gas.
