Lakshya Digital is seeking to create a Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The game art creation company will add up to 200 people at its newly set up studio in Bengaluru.
The company has identified a few focus areas that would help strengthen its presence globally. It has identified two-three areas where it wants to build competence globally like hard surface modelling, vehicle creation and animation.
The studio in Bengaluru is the company’s third in country after Pune and Gurugram, and sixth globally, after Seattle, Tokyo and London.
Lakshya has put in place a leadership team in Bengaluru, and while the studio began operations at the end of March 2021, the team is working remotely as of now.
The company has also set up an academy to ensure it has a steady pipeline of trained talent needed for the industry.
