The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group has announced the re-branding of its property in Mumbai as 'The Lalit Mumbai', thus ending the franchise agreement with the InterContinental Hotel Group.

The Group will be launching its mid-segment hotel under the brand The Lalit Traveller. Apart from this, seven hotel properties are to open soon. The Group will soon be adding The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata, The Lalit Ahmedabad, The Lalit Chandigarh, The Lalit Amritsar, The Lalit Dehradoon will be launched, along with international projects The Lalit Grand Fort Dubai and The Lalit Resort & Spa Koh Samui (Thailand). Presently, the Group owns, manages and operates nine properties, including The Lalit New Delhi, The Lalit Mumbai, The Lalit Ashok Bangalore in Business Hotels category, The Lalit Golf and Spa Resort Goa, The Lalit Temple View Khajuraho & The Lalit Resort & Spa Bekal (Kerala) in the Resorts category and The Lalit Grand Palace Srinagar and The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur in the Palaces category.
