As per the latest information available with Projects Today, Livguard Batteries has raised the manufacturing capacity of its Manpura plant in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.
The company has increased the capacity of its lead battery plates from 28,500 tpa to 58,500 tpa.
Moreover it has also expanded the batteries assembly unit capacity from 18,00,000 tpa to 48,00,000 tpa.
The project has seen an investment of Rs 139 crore and has generated employment for 1,500 persons.
