The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr Vilasrao
Deshmukh, would be inaugurating the Love Grove Junction Flyover at Worli in
Mumbai, today, the 11 March 2002.
The project undertaken by Maharashtra State Road
Development Corporation, is part of the Bandra Worli Sealink project. The 680 m
long and 8 m wide flyover, which started in October 2000, took 18 months to
complete. It was constructed at a cost of Rs.7.5 crore.
The contractors for the project were Vichare & Co
and JMC Projects, while the consortium of consultants comprised Svedrup Asia,
Skrikhande Consultants, C Felice & Company, KPMG India and TPG (India).
