Maa Chhinnmastika Cement & Ispat has completed the capacity expansion of its steel unit from 100 tonne to 350 tonne at Hehal village in Barkakhana, Ramgarh of Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand.
The expansion includes products such as waste heat recovery-based power (WHRB) with a capacity of six MW, SMS-IF and billet caster with 72,000 tpa and rolling mill with 67,500 tpa, among others.
The company had appointed its in-house team as a contractor. The project received terms of reference (ToR) in August 2016. It received environmental clearance (EC) for the project in August 2019. In the development process, the project was kept on hold due to land issues, and later, the company recommenced work.
According to the latest updates shared with Projects Today, the company has successfully completed project work.
