The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has sanctioned seven irrigation projects in the state.
The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has sanctioned Rs 6,464 crore for seven irrigation projects with a total capacity to irrigate 4.16 lakh ha. Details of the seven projects are mentioned below:

Rs 70.61 crore for the Surajpura medium irrigation project in Sagar district with 4,205 ha capacity.

Rs 120.02 crore has been accorded to Upper Tilwara canal project in Seoni district with designed capacity to irrigate 45,256 ha.

Rs 53.41 crore to Rehti medium irrigation project in Vidisha district with a capacity of 2,905 ha.

Rs. 296.64 crore has been sanctioned to Sagad medium irrigation project with 17,061 ha capacity.

Rs 291.95 crore has been allotted to Sanjay Sagar (Bah) medium irrigation project in Vidisha district with the capacity of 17,807 ha.

Rs 486.96 crore has been accorded to the Gulab Sagar (Mahan) Project in Sidhi district with 20,175 ha irrigate capacity.

Rs 1,620.02 crore and Rs 3,524.38 crore for Bansagar multipurpose project main works (Unit-I) and for canal works (Unit-II) respectively.

Meanwhile, the state cabinet has also approved construction of 15 new colleges in the state and introduction of new post-graduate classes in 16 existing colleges. The new colleges will be come up in Shahgarh (Sagar), Tendukhera (Narsinghpur), Satwas (Dewas), Semariya (Rewa), Mangawan (Rewa) Batiyagarh (Damoh), Kusmi (Sidhi), Barela (Jabalpur), Akoda (Bhind), Chandala (Chhatarpur), Majhgawan (Satna), Uchehra (Satna), Gunnaur (Panna) and Ladkui (Sehore). Besides, approval has also been given to recognize aided private Bapu College, Naugaon (Chhatarpur).
