The Maharashtra government and Patanjali may partner for a Rs 25,000 crore cow project.
Union minister for road transport and highways, Nitin Gadkari has requested Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to consider providing 1,000 acre of land to Patanjali group for a cow-based project in Vidarbha, Maharashtra.
The state government will also raise a Rs 25,000 crore project on 800 acre of land located at Heti (Kundi) village in Vidarbha which will be undertaken along with Patanjali group.
The FMCG company will purchase 10,000 cows to develop a breeding centre and to carry out dairy and allied activities at the site. It will make an investment of Rs 500 crore.
