Mahindra Logistics and L’Oréal India have partnered to inaugurate India's first fully women-operated warehouse in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

This groundbreaking initiative aims to empower women in logistics by entrusting them with end-to-end operations, marking a significant shift in workforce participation within the sector. The women-led team, trained in areas like self-defence, fire safety, and leadership, is set to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to gender balance in logistics. The facility will support distribution across Central India, improving delivery times and service continuity for L’Oréal’s products.

With this project, both companies are advancing inclusive, digitally-enabled, and future-ready supply chain solutions. "With the launch of this facility, we are not only enhancing supply chain efficiency but also building a more inclusive and gender-balanced logistics ecosystem,” said a Mahindra Logistics spokesperson.
