Megha Engineering & Infrastructures has secured a contract valued at Rs 545.15 crore from the Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation.
The contract involves the construction of a protection wall, approach road, and other related works for the conservation and preservation of the ancient Bhon culture, which is located in the submerged area of the Jigaon project in Bhon, Taluka Sangrampur, district Buldhana. The contract is set to be completed within 36 months.
This initiative will focus on safeguarding the historical and cultural heritage of the Bhon region, which is affected by the ongoing irrigation project. Megha Engineering will be responsible for executing the necessary infrastructure work to protect and preserve the site.
