Water Resources Department (WRD), Odisha has invited bids for the execution of three lift irrigation schemes.
These schemes, which will have intake points on the Kanpur Main Canal, Ardei Nai, and Balisuda River, aim to cover a command area ranging from 500 ha to 2000 ha in Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts. The scope of work includes the establishment of a distribution network up to a one ha chak to ensure efficient water supply for irrigation purposes. The contract is valued at Rs 127.18 crore and is expected to contribute to the overall agricultural development and water management in these districts.
The closing date for submitting bids is 11 February, 2026.
