Meghmani Organics had earlier announced that the nano urea plant of Meghmani Crop Nutrition, its wholly-owned subsidiary, was inaugurated at Sanand, Ahmedabad on 06 March, 2024.
Meghmani Crop Nutrition has commenced the commercial production of the nano urea (Liquid) fertilizer plant. Liquid fertilizer and is effective in enhancing the nutritional quality of the crops, while reducing the government's subsidy burden on conventional urea.
Additionally, Meghmani Organics plans to expand agro chemicals & intermediates unit with capacity from 259.4 tpm to 1495 tpm at Ankleshwar in Bharuch district of Gujarat. The project will spread over 14.92 acres of land, and further approval for amendment in environment clearance of the project is awaited. Work on the project was expected to commence by December 2024.
