Microsoft has leased 1,80,000 sq ft flexible space with Tablespace Technologies in Bengaluru, Karnataka, as it seeks to expand operations.
The facility, located on the Outer Ring Road, will come up at Tablespace Technologies’ co-working space and seat 2,000 people.
This is Microsoft’s second flexible office deal signed in 2020. The entire fit-out will be done by Tablespace Technologies and the company will pay rent of around Rs 16,000 per desk. The facility has a lock-in period of two years.
The company had inked a deal for 1,50,000 sq ft space with WeWork in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
At present, the company occupies 5,50,000 sq ft on Outer Ring Road. The software company has operations in 11 cities in India and employs about 8,000 people across the country.
