The Minor Irrigation & Ground Water Development, Karnataka, has invited bids for works under Koramangala and Challaghatta Valley project.
The scope of work involves survey, investigation, design, supply, installation, testing, etc for second stage lifting/pumping secondary treated water from available sources to various ridge points to fill additional 257 tanks in Kolar district and Chintamani taluka of Chickballapura district in Karnataka on turnkey basis under the ongoing Koramangala and Challaghatta Valley (K & C Valley) project.
The work also includes commissioning, comprising head works, construction of intake channels, jackwell-cum-pump houses, power supply including terminal bays, laying of transmission lines, raising mains, delivery chambers, gravity mains and nala training works, etc and other components including operation and maintenance for a period of five years after successful commissioning of work.
The estimated cost of work is Rs 346.2 crore with completion period of 24 months.
