Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), has invited bids for the upgradation and construction of a section of NH-505 (Sumdo-Kaza-Gramphoo) road in Himachal Pradesh.
The work comprises upgrading an existing CL-5 Road to National Highway (NH) intermediate lane specifications with hard shoulders, covering a design length of 73.830 km—from km 00.000 to km 73.830 (existing chainage: km 00.000 to km 75.991). This strategic highway project aims to significantly enhance connectivity in the high-altitude regions of Himachal Pradesh, playing a vital role in regional development and border accessibility.
The estimated cost of the contract is Rs 367.83 crore. The work scope includes road widening, strengthening, and associated civil infrastructure in compliance with intermediate lane specifications.
The bid submission closing date is 23 September, 2025.
