The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has invited bids for the construction of Gangapur city bypass on NH-23 of two-lane with paved shoulders configuration in length of 19.16 km on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis under Annual Plan 2024-25 in Rajasthan.  

The scope of work will broadly include rehabilitation, up-gradation and augmentation of the existing carriageway to two-lane with paved shoulders, with new pavement. It also includes the construction and/or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, construction of road intersections, interchanges, RCC drains and others.

The contractor will also be responsible for the maintenance of the bypass during the defect liability period (DLP) of five years.

The estimated value of work is Rs 256.54 crore and is scheduled to executed within 24 months.
