Moser Baer Photo Voltaic Ltd's expansion plans for manufacturing solar cells and
modules may be deferred by a few months from June 2010 to December 2010, as the
company is not sure about the demand scenario for its products in the developed
countries.
Moser Baer had planned to expand its current capacity from 80 to 180 MW for
crystalline silicon; from 40 to 130 MW for Thin Film technology; and from 5 to
10 MW for concentrator technology, at its Greater Noida facility in Uttar
Pradesh.
