Motovolt Mobility, a leading provider of electric two-wheeler solutions, has announced a retail expansion plan, aiming to reach 200 retail touchpoints across India by March 2026.
This move is aligned with the company’s strategy to cater to the growing demand in the last-mile delivery and micro-mobility sectors. The gig economy alone is expected to expand from USD five billion to USD 100 billion in the next five years, increasing rider requirements from three million to 10 million. Motovolt plans to strengthen its presence across all major EV markets and states, ensuring better accessibility and service for its electric two-wheelers.
Through its strategic partnership with eROCKIT, the company has incorporated advanced German technology, blending European engineering expertise with Indian manufacturing strengths. Motovolt's flagship M7 scooter has become the top choice for last-mile delivery partners, thanks to its 180 kg load capacity and 166 km range on a single charge.
The expansion supports India's transition to electric mobility and offers scalable, sustainable transport solutions for delivery partners and urban commuters. The company is focused on innovation, efficiency, and ecosystem support as it deepens its footprint across the country. As part of its expansion strategy, Motovolt is making substantial investments in research and development to create proprietary components such as motor controllers, vehicle control units, and battery management systems (BMS).
