1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Mundra UMPP: Tata Power eyes Australia for coal supplies

Tata Power has planned to source coal from Australia, Indonesia and South Africa for its upcoming 4,000 MW Mundra ultra mega power in Gujarat.

The company plans to import 12 million tonnes of coal per year starting 2012 for its coast-based project. It is also planning to source equipment equipment from suppliers in South-East Asia, according to reports.

Tata Power is expected to finalize its project financing pattern over the next six months. The project will be implemented on a debt-equity ratio of 75:25 or 70:30.

Meanwhile, the consortium of Lanco Infratech and Globeleq, has planned to source main plant equipment from Dongfang of China for its Sasan ultra mega power project in Madhya Pradesh.

Union power minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde, handed over the letters of intent to the successful bidders of the Sasan and Mundra ultra mega power projects on 28 December 2006.
