Municipal Council, Datia (MCD) opened the financial bids on 30 May, 2025 for the implementation of a sewerage project under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme in Datia town, Madhya Pradesh.
A Datia-based company, New India and Sons, has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) with a quoted value of Rs 64.07 crore. Shristi Infraengineering and P C Snehal Construction were ranked L2 and L3, respectively.
The scope of work involves survey and investigation, preparation of detailed design and construction drawings, construction and commissioning of a wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal system. It also includes the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the sewerage system for a period of 10 years, after successful completion. The initial five-year post-completion will be treated as the defect liability period (DLP).
