Muthoot Leisure and Hospitality Services (MLHS), a division of Muthoot M George
Enterprises, plans to expand its business by adding two more resorts in two
years.
The company is planning to invest around Rs 200 crore for acquiring land in
various states. In Tamil Nadu, the company has already acquired land for setting
up a resort.
The upcoming beach resort at
Mararikkulam in Alappuzha district of Kerala will be commissioned in 15
months. The resort will be operational on 20 acres adjacent to the sea. MLHS has
also planned to start a farm-based resort at Panangad village on six acre.
The company is planning to add ten more housing boats to its present
fleet. The total investment in these boats would be in a range of Rs 3.5 - 4
crore.
