Infrastructure major NCC has received two work orders worth Rs 10,805 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) for the BharatNet project.
These contracts involve the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the middle-mile network across multiple telecom circles. The first order, valued at Rs 2,647 crore, is for the Uttarakhand telecom circle, while the second, worth Rs 8,157 crore, covers Madhya Pradesh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu telecom circles.
This project is part of BharatNet’s initiative to enhance broadband connectivity in rural and remote areas, reinforcing NCC’s role in national infrastructure development.
Additionally, NCC has secured a Rs 2,129 crore contract from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority for construction work in the Amaravati Capital City Project.
