The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has floated a tender for the development of an eight-lane elevated flyover at Tier-1 on a single pier, along with the upgradation of the existing road to four/six lanes, and the construction of two-lane service roads on both sides.
The work spans from Nashik Phata (km 12.190) to Khed (km 42.113) on National Highway 60 in Maharashtra, covering a total length of 29.923 km. The contract will be executed on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) (Toll) mode, with an estimated contract value of Rs 7,434.33 crore. The scope includes comprehensive road expansion, structural works for the elevated corridor, and ancillary infrastructure to improve traffic capacity and safety.
The initiative aims to decongest the high-traffic stretch, reduce travel time, and enhance regional connectivity. Once completed, the project is expected to significantly streamline vehicular movement between Pune and Nashik, supporting economic activity and improving logistics efficiency in the region.
The deadline for bid submission is 25 September, 2025.
