The Supreme Court has ordered National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to
consider the bids of eight companies, instead of six for allotment of tender for
the development of Hyderabad-Vijayawada section of the NH 9 in Andhra Pradesh.
The companies whose bids are now being considered by NHAI are Maytas Infra,
Hindustan Construction Company, Cintra Concession De, Larsen & Toubro, GVK Power
& Infrastructure, Isolux Corsan Concession, GMR Infrastructure and Madhucon
Projects.
