NHPC has invited bids for the development of power evacuation infrastructure for its 1,200 MW Jalaun Solar Park project in Uttar Pradesh.
The contract, valued at Rs. 614.21 crore, aims to establish critical infrastructure to evacuate the power generated by the solar park. The successful contractor will be responsible for designing, constructing, and ensuring the efficient evacuation of power from the solar park, which will significantly contribute to meeting India’s renewable energy targets. The project’s development will play a key role in enhancing India’s renewable energy capacity, and reflects NHPC’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy footprint and strengthening the country’s power infrastructure.
The bid submission deadline is set for 16 February, 2026.
