NRB Bearings, a prominent manufacturer of cylindrical and needle roller bearings, has entered into a joint venture (JV) with Italy’s Unitec Group to strengthen its industrial cylindrical roller bearings (CRB) portfolio.

The partnership aims to accelerate expansion in industrial, off-highway, and emerging technology sectors. As part of the deal, a state-of-the-art, LEED-certified manufacturing plant will be set up in Uppal, Hyderabad, for CRB production. NRB will lead production, while Unitec will provide critical technical and operational expertise, along with a commitment to buy back 20 percent of the JV’s annual output. Both companies will also exclusively market each other’s products in their respective countries.
