A consortium of Jyoti Structures and Areva T&D has bagged an order worth Rs
900 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company to set up
sub-stations in Maharashtra.
The order involves setting up of 36 sub-stations, with a capacity of 220 kV
and 132 kV, over a period of three years. Areva has already booked orders of the
first 18 sub-stations worth Rs 360 crore.
Jyoti Structures portion of contract for supply and execution of transmission
lines is worth Rs 833 crore.
